I was an accomplice to chicken murder this morning!
We’re wrapping up the last few English lessons this week, and I’m finishing up last minute shopping and trying to figure out exactly how I’m going to get from here to the capital to the airport. There’s a bus that goes directly from San Miguel to the main bus terminal in Mexico City, so that’s what I’ll be taking. The only downside is that it arrives early in the morning, and I don’t leave until late afternoon. I’m not sure if I’m going to head to the airport and hang out there until late afternoon or if I’m going to be able to meet up with people there. I regret that I didn’t get my Mexico City friends’ e-mails (the ones I met in the Lacandón jungle). It would’ve been really great to meet up with them again! Mari says that one of her sons’ fianceés is going to school in Mexico City, but they don’t have her telephone number. We have to wait to see if he calls and can give us the number. I’ll keep you updated, and I’m planning to call on Monday before I leave Guadalupe Victoria.
Talk to you again soon!

Mom says she’s glad to hear you’re getting practice so you can take care of the chickens here when you get home, too. Katelyn says, “Hi! I love you!” and Cassandra says…wait, I already said something! See your last blog entry!
